加拿大駐台北貿易辦事處及亞伯達駐台辦事處將於2017年02月23日舉辦 「2017加台奈米技術應用暨物聯科技策略合作研討會」。
奈米科技可廣泛應用於不同領域，為產業界在提升競爭力、應用創新開發提供更多的潛力和想像。加拿大政府十分重視奈米科技的發展，持續對產業在奈米應用科技上的研發注入資源，協助企業利用奈米科技的特性，轉成實際應用進而產生具體經濟成效。此次將有6家公司從加拿大來台，他們分別利用奈米技術開發在包括環保、生技醫療、食品安全、光學電子、感應器及電信等相關領域的應用。
如何使用物聯網技術建立更有效益、安全、健康的生活是現今主要的產業趨勢。在大數據時代，如何保障資訊的安全也是極為關鍵。這次另有兩家加拿大公司分別為1) 提供企業政府資料安全保護的革命性解決方案，2) 在物聯網應用中可將不同系統互相串連提升全面應用效益的技術和標準。
